The Salz is the sea that surrounds the isle of Midrath. The western port-town of Salzbrim sits upon the coast of the Salz, and the Dendrit Staff known as

was plunged from its depths.

A mage from the eastern fishing village of Nellynoch once drowned herself in the Salz, after her love for

- the Deity of Alca's green-glowing moon - was not returned in kind.

A phantom ship known as the Blue Ribbon can be seen adrift on the distant Salz from Midrath's shores, and approaching some of the isle's Shipwrecks may even transport an Envoy aboard...
