Rovgot Ruins
Overview
The Rovgot Ruins are a Dungeon located on the isle of Midrath. They are the interiors of fallen Ode'n Skytowers; long since fallen from their original condition, they now fester with Mendicant threats caused by the uncontrolled spread of
Ichor.
The Rovgot Ruins are home to the
Rovgot Wyrmboss, and its numerous
Broodlings.
The current iteration of the Rovgot Ruins is an early preview, with more content confirmed to arrive at a later date.
Dungeon Entrances
The only current entrance to the Rovgot Ruins is the ruined skytower located in the corrupted wasteland of New Viscii, in southeastern Kearnhold Lowlands.
Notable Loot
The Rovgot Ruins are the only place one can find the
Cenotaphand
Lyke-Wake, dropped by the
Rovgot Wyrmboss and
Mendicant Ruin Knightsrespectively. Their loot is as follows:

The ruins are remnants of something cast down from the skies long ago... but what if something still stirs within? From the
Ichorrises a host of Mendicant threats, both new and old:

Initially, the Dungeon will be displayed as ROVGOT RUINS. Unlike other Dungeons, one must find 9 rare History Motes within the Ruins to decipher its name and histories.
To obtain them all, one must traverse the Ruins numerous times; if one is having trouble finding any Motes, it is sometimes advised to first slay the
Rovgot Wyrmand then explore the Ruins backwards towards the entrance, as this will give Motes more time to spawn properly.
Despite the dungeon's in-game description, it is unconfirmed whether equipping the
Pensive's Cloakor any other component(s) of the Pensive Set will affect the spawn rate of these History Motes.

| Feel it. Spark-acid clinging to your Feykin flesh. You will spark the undying flame.

| Can you taste it? Magicks pepper from fallen cloud. Another ritual gathers above. To deny the dread circle.

| Smell you, the furnace char? The kindling livestock? Are you the flint of blue-fire flame? The blast-spark of the fallen tower?

| Smell it. The acrid discharge of Ascension. Leeran smiles at death's reproach.

| A dais there, or here. Ode runes slicked in oil. Powering some star-ride ritual… then BOOM!

| Cast off towers… A calamity? No. I taste a great and grave denial. The salt of resurrection.

| How great these god-a-likes… to shed so careless a grand cathedral. A garden snake full o' frogs. A hingeless jaw 'fore oily bone.
