Verus is a Deity in Midrathian mythology, and is said to be the secondborn son of

The second demigod child of Iridis, radiant and enchanting. Verus is also described as a constellation,^[1] similar to his siblings,

The existence of Verus is said to remain a secret to Iridis - for Verus was born in ice and silence, on "the Isle where the suns never set".^[2] It is unknown yet whether this refers to one of Alca's physical landmasses, or a more esoteric plane such as Eldveil or the Silvern Sea.

, though it is unknown if the mage directly worshipped, or had any other connection to, Verus.

The Dendrit word 'Verose' is derived from Verus' name. It is an adjective meaning "Radiant as the enchanting Verus. Bright, and emanating a magick-like glow."^[3]
