Brewing

At the start of the game, access to the Brewing system is locked. Finishing the Brewer of Hues Fable unlocks

in the player's Nightfold - this allows the player to brew various concoctions.

Brewing is performed by speaking to Verminia and clicking on her cauldron.

Upon first speaking to her, the player will not be able to brew everything, such as

The Cogah

, despite owning the prerequisite ingredients - this is because certain items require the player to increase their Bond with her. To level up this bond, the player will need to craft other Palettes and Elixirs.

Each item will take a set amount of real-world Time to brew, and may be rushed by spending

Arcs

. There is no limit to how many items may be brewing at once, however; so there is no need to rush a brew unless you strongly desire immediate access to the item.

Brewing consumes various Ingredients, and requires a Fragment. Fragments are the components of the specific item, but unlike in Crafting, Brewing does not consume a Fragment - simply using it as a permanent recipe instead. Refer to the Droptable to view where all these Ingredients and Fragments can be obtained.
