Overview
Upon beginning Soulframe, players may choose one of three starting Pacts. This choice will determine not only their starting gear, but also their starting Enclave in the form of one of three Enclave Talismans:
All 3 Enclaves share the goal of restoring peace to Alca and to rid her of Ode'n influence; only their methods differ, from war, to subterfuge, to healing.
Enclaves reside within hidden locations, each with their own Enclave Leader with whom players may rank up and redeem rewards:
Each Enclave acts as a Social Hub, meaning that other Envoys may be seen and spoken to. Interacting with an Envoy performing the 'Sit' emote will invite them to play a game of Regatta.
Enclaves System
Initially, access to the Enclaves system is locked. Completing The Torment Stag grants access to An Invitation...; which, upon completion, unlocks Enclave Votives for your starter Enclave.
Standing
For negative Standing with the Ode, see Ode Infamy.
To earn reputation with one's Enclave, known as Standing or Favour, the player must complete Enclave Votives. These may also be performed for a different Enclave, via Multiplayer, and will still award the usual Standing and Items for each player's Enclave.
Upon completion, the player will earn Standing that can be traded with the Enclave Leader to acquire equipment, Pacts, Cosmetics, Consumables and
; they will also earn loot from the Rewards pool.
Enemies may also drop Enclave Favours. Only 50 of each Favour may be held in the Inventory, and they can be exchanged for Standing with each Enclave representative:
- Kith of Kings -
Sineculum - Alca's Children -
Baskbulb - Silent Rose -
Sinners' Stratagem
Envoys can redeem Favours with any Enclave, but only an Enclave's respective Favour will reward the full amount. Redeeming a different Enclave’s Favour will grant a reduced amount of Standing (e.g. Sineculum turned in to Alca’s Children). Favours are exempt from the Daily Standing Cap.
There is a universal daily Standing cap of 16,000 Standing per day, which resets at 00:00-UTC. This cap does not apply to Favours sold to Enclaves.
Ranks
The only current way to see your Standing is to visit your Enclave, or to complete an Enclave Votive and observe progress on the Rewards UI. Note that the standing displayed will be cumulative, rather than showing your actual available standing. What this means is:
- You rank up to Rank 4, spending 20,000 Standing. You now have 0 Standing.
- You complete a Votive and earn 850 Standing. You now have 850 Standing available to spend.
- The number displayed on the Rewards UI, however, will be 50,850 - not 850 - even though the amount available to you is only 850.
| Rank | Standing Required | Standing Cap | Cumulative Cap |
|---|---|---|---|
| 0 | 0 | 5,000 | 5,000 |
| 1 | 5,000 | 5,000 | 10,000 |
| 2 | 10,000 | 20,000 | 30,000 |
| 3 | 30,000 | 20,000 | 50,000 |
| 4 | 50,000 | 30,000 | 80,000 |
| 5 | 80,000 | 30,000 | 110,000 |
Changing Enclaves
An Envoy may change Enclaves by crafting another Enclave's Talisman and talking to their respective leader. There is no cost nor limit on how often an Envoy may switch Enclaves.
(Note: Standing and Ranks with your old Enclave are retained when switching Enclaves. Whilst they will not carry over to another Enclave, you may freely switch Enclaves without loss of progress for each individual Enclave.)

Enclave Votives

Rewards
Enclave Votives reward Standing depending on their tier and enemy level. Level range for enemies is based on the location of the starting waypoint, and stays consistent throughout the Enclave Votive. The northern side of the map generally offers high-level Enclave Votives, and the southern one, low-level ones; though there are exceptions to this, such as the high-level surroundings of New Viscii in the southeast.
| Tier 1 | Tier 2 | Tier 3 | Tier 3 Dungeon | |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Level 0-10 | ||||
| Level 11-20 | ||||
| Level 21-30 | ||||
| Level 31-40 |
Enclave Votives may not be acquired during The Cogah, so there is currently no way to get level 41-50 Votives.
Completing an Enclave Votive also has the chance to award a variety of loot, such as Weapon or Armour Fragments:
Starting Enclave Votives
Enclave Votives are not initiated by speaking to the Enclave Leader - instead, they are accepted from a Votives Shrine. Upon first logging in, an Enclave Representative will spawn nearby, allowing Votives to be initiated from their selection; alternatively, the Envoy may select a Votive from a World Tree.
After completing the first Votive, another Enclave Representative will spawn nearby, allowing follow-up Votives to be initiated.
Upon accepting a Votive, the first objective will begin.
All Enclave Votives are comprised of one or several tasks that must be completed in sequence and, for Tier 2 and 3 Votives, conclude with a special End Task.
Depending on its tier, an Enclave Votive will include a varying amount of tasks:
- First Tier: 1 task
- Second Tier: 2 tasks
- Third Tier: 3 or 4 tasks
Some Tier 3 Enclave Votives may even require the Envoy to enter a Dungeon; these Votives will offer twice as much Standing. Agari found in the Dungeon are included as part of the Votive.
Tier 3 Votives may also conclude with a nearby overworld Agari.
Choose Your Path
Certain Enclave Votives offer split paths.
Whilst not common practice, it is possible to switch paths by completing the unfinished stages - even if the objective marker is hidden, it stays on your map. However, clearing both paths does not provide more Standing or rewards.

One Sproutfolk may be found on the ground level of the chamber. Upon attacking its cage, the Envoy will receive a hint:
Perhaps this cage can be grappled.
Opposite to the cage, next to a large boulder, is a grappling pulley. Stand beneath the pulley and perform a ranged attack towards the cage to pull it back to ground level. Interact with the cage (default F) to release the Sproutfolk.
Lower Bridge
Another Sproutfolk is suspended next to the lower of the two wooden bridges. From the north end of the bridge, interact with a pulley to lower the cage to the ground. Descend to the cage and open it to free the Sproutfolk.

A third Sproutfolk can be found on the southwestern end of the highest wooden bridge. Head into the cavern north of the bridge, and find a pulley which can be interacted with to lower the cage. Interact with the cage to free the Sproutfolk, and the Enclave Votive will complete.

Trivia
- Prior to Preludes 15, Enclave Votives used to be named Sparrow's Tales.
- Enclaves used to be named Factions until Preludes 12. The Votives, however, are still sometimes referred to by Digital Extremes as Faction Tales instead of 'Enclave Tales' or the in-game 'Enclave Votives'.
- Prior to Preludes 13, Enclave Votives were not initiated by speaking to the Enclave Leader. Instead, whilst exploring Midrath, scouts from the Envoy's current Enclave would spawn nearby; their locations were marked on the map and the compass. If Envoys had trouble spotting the scout, Spectral Sight would highlight them.
- Prior to Preludes 13 Hotfix 1, there used to be a 1 week cooldown on switching Enclaves, which began the moment the Envoy joined a new Enclave.
