Basker's Wrest
The dread gauntlets of The Fire King’s army. Channeling magicks from the inset orbs of Moranite, these gauntlets were wielded against the Cassid occupation in the year 603. Not knights but rebels, vigilantes of the undercity, called upon the red sun. They called themselves the Baskers, forging her courage into armlets of scrap. They cried flames across their homelands, lost. They burned the collaborators. And The Fire King, Fenn Jotar, could only watch.

Basker's Wrest is a pair of Wrist Casters used by the Baskers - rebels of Clan Jotar during the uprising against the Cassid Reign.

Trivia
- Whilst inlaid with orbs of
Moranite, the Basker's Wrest do not require any Moranite to craft.
- Despite the fire theme of the weapon, it does not yet deal Flame damage.
- Digital Extremes confirmed in Envoy Hour 8 that damage types will be receiving further work in a future update.
- Envoys with Fragments attained prior to Preludes 15 retained the ability to Craft Basker's Wrest with Tuvalkane at the cost of the original Crafting Requirements

- Fixed pre-Preludes 15 Sidearms being able to roll the
Unencumbered Temper when refined or rerolled with Chaos Chordstones.
- Accounts have been updated to replace Unencumbered with a random Temper on appropriate Sidearms.
