Muireall was crowned Child-Queen of Midrath in the year 680, presumably at just 11 years old.

Though small for her age, 11 year-old Muireall insisted that her ritual coronation blade should be a greatsword. The court steelsinger forged the hilt in the likeness of Muireall's dear cat, Fleabert, and hollowed the blade so that her tiny majesty might be able to lift it. Amused by the shape, she named it Needleseye, and swung the great thing one-handed.

Muireall Jotar would have been 48 years old in 717, on the date of the ill-fated Fonnish Charge. Due to their close rulings,

may have gotten his title by marrying Muireall during her reign.
