Steelsinger Kane

Steelsinger Kane was a fabled blacksmith, and prominent member of the Steelsinger's Guild.

Kane was grandfather and mentor to the Envoy's blacksmith,

.

Kane wore a Steelsinger's helm constructed entirely of

Moonsteel

, and is said to be the one who forged

Igne Mora

- the legendary flaming sword of the Midrathian Fire King,

.

Whilst Igne Mora was wrought from the flaming sun

, Kane is said to have forged a sister blade from its twin sun

.

As Fenn toiled under Kane's tutelage, pleading to take a blade for himself, Kane would refuse to strike them complete. Fenn stole Igne Mora in the night, and legend tells that Kane returned its forsaken twin blade to the flames - along with a curse on young Fenn himself.

• According to a note written on the concept art for the Tuvalkane Mannequin, Kane's severed head is kept within the Moonsteel Helm carried by his granddaughter Tuvalkane.
