Fort Curlail
Overview
Fort Curlail is a castle located in southeastern Greater Curlail on the isle of Midrath, to the south of the settlement of Curlail. It has been overtaken by Sinecure forces, and is the location of Soulframe's second ever Siege.

Histories
Initially, the location will be displayed as FORT CURLAIL. You must find 3 History motes at the location to decipher the name. To get them all, you can either wait a full day/night cycle, relog, or go into a dungeon.
The legendary birthplace of the Dendrit Knightmaidens. After the Fonnish Charge of 717, the Mendicant King of Curlail and his men were lost. Thus, the Ladies of Curlailan court donned the ancient's armour to hold their keep and have worn it proudly ever since.
 By Peregrine's eye, the enemy befalls our fortress at nightfall. By my crown, they will not arrive. I lead you Southwards to their charge, men, not for my pride nor sport, but for the freedom bequest of our Fort.

Siege
"The Ode have occupied Fort Curlail! Destroy their skylantern and reclaim Fort Curlail for the rebel cause."
The Siege of Fort Curlail may be picked up as a Votive objective, or simply approached to begin the operation.
Thus, the humble Hamlet of Curlail and its mighty fort are found hoisted from the Dendrit and held in wretched Ode’n machination.
To retake Fort Curlail, Envoys will traverse with Synsylk Grappler and man Bisulcam as you contend with a shifting Castellan, bent on pelting you from afar.
- Defeat Banneret Kylst before the main bridge, and loot his corpse to obtain the
Bisulcam Fodder which can be used to operate the nearby Ode'n Bisulcam to breach the gates.
- Within the main fort bailey, defeat Castellan Huthra to obtain the
Synsylk Grappler which can be used to traverse the fort's walls and watchtowers.
- Ascend the Northern watchtower and throw the rope to create a zipline to the Western watchtower, from where the Ode'n Skylantern can be incinerated with a torch and brazier nearby.

Trivia
- The Journal Histories of Fort Curlail used to begin with the line, "The Mendicant King's Final Battlecry, as scribed by Sir Tincel, his jester in court.". This was removed in Preludes 14.
