Fenn Jotar

Fire King Fenn Jotar, once famed ruler of Midrath, is first introduced in the Torment Stag Fable, as a spirit encountered within the Dermak Undercity.

Fenn Jotar wields

Igne Mora

, and wears the Fire King Armour Set. His equipment can be obtained by the player, via the Kith of Kings.

Fenn may possibly be an Envoy, or otherwise bear a Fey arm; as he wears the

Mora's Hand

pact.

Fenn Jotar is also the leader of the Kith of Kings; a starting Enclave ideal for players who enjoy battling in close combat and specialising their Envoy into the Virtue of Courage.

To speak with Fenn Jotar within the Kith of Kings Enclave, you must first craft a Talisman called the

Medallion of Mora

. This item allows you to interact with Fenn Jotar and join the Kith of Kings.

Fire King of the Dermak Undercity, Fenn Jotar was the driving force that led to the end of the Cassid Occupation of Midrath.

Alongside his sword, Fenn is recognized by his signature armour, adorned with motifs of fish and flame to mark this antique by the House of Jotar. He was a devotee of the twin sun goddesses,

Fenn Jotar's soul now sits in the dilapidated Kith of Kings Enclave - when it is not wandering Dermak’s abandoned tunnels.

As a young prince, Fenn was a pupil under

, then master of the Steelsingers Guild. For four years he served, forging the twin Sun blades. However, the impatient Fenn stole one of these blades - Igne Mora itself - and vowed to never return. As Fire King, Fenn Jotar would be renowned for his legendary flaming sword, and later went on to construct the great Undercity of Dermak.^[1]

Whilst Fenn quelled the Cassid occupation centuries ago in Year 603, he fights an eternal war in his undeath. During Sparrow's Tales for the Kith of Kings, Fenn will speak to the

as if the Ode invaders are themselves Cassids, urging them to drive back the invaders.

Whilst the rest of Alca fights a new war, Jotar has not felt the warmth of the suns for many centuries - and has no true concept of what is occurring on the surface of Midrath. To him, the presence of invaders means Cassids to burn - for in the eternal undeath of Fenn Jotar, the Cassid Reign never truly ended.
