Lore
Built during an unknown time by the legendary Midrathian Fire King,
Fenn Jotar.[1] The great granite Dermak Undercity virtually spans the entirety of Midrath’s bowels, but is now an abandoned relic of pre Ode'n wars. The once-lived citadels and tunnels are now infested with Sinecure thieves, who pillage the city’s treasures as tribute to their
Lord Synod.

"The granite gate wheeled shut… their eyes and arrows fixed upon the Dermak stone. None look up. Into the arms of Alca, they fled... for naught." - Dermak Concept Reveal
Since sunlight was scarce, Dermak architects ingeniously used bronze mirrors to illuminate their fruit gardens. Ancient irrigation methods, terraces, and water channels were employed, while the power of water from the aqueduct drove a clockwork mill, allowing its bronze mirrors to track the twin suns’ position.
Unfortunately, the Sinecure have tampered with this mechanism upon their arrival; leaving many of the groves to wither and die.
