Crypt Crawler

Crypt Crawlers are Spectral Foes primarily found within the Crypt of the Circade. They may also be encountered in the Dermak Undercity during the Treasures Yet Uncovered Sparrow's Tale, upon collecting the artifact.

These near-formless foes possess only one attack, an energy arc projectile similar to that fired by the

. This attack is slow-moving but has long range, and can pass through walls as long as its centre is not obstructed.

The projectile has a short wind-up period, signified by a noticeable glow. This can give Envoys enough warning to Dodge or Block the attack. Magick Weapons are capable of Deflecting these attacks back towards the Crypt Crawler once the Mirrorspell Art is unlocked, damaging it in return.

• Since Preludes 13, the Crypt Crawler's hitbox has been positioned notably below its character model.

• Since around Preludes 11 Hotfix 10 (Bita's Eve), regular Crypt Crawlers have used Phantom Sprout audio. Humorously, this means they will cheer when they are killed.

•
