Zenith

Overview
Zenith is an Ancestor in Soulframe.[1] He is described as a 'Dale Seer camel', and as a member of the otherwise Ode-enslaved Arid Caravan.[2]
He is a Merchant Ancestor who will allow the Envoy to purchase various wares within the Nightfold via his storefront, the Wares of Zenith.
Blessed Meeting
Zenith may be encountered in a Blessed Meeting, through which the Envoy may select one of the following boons which last ~23 Hours:
Orison of the Master - Experience gained is doubled whilst active.
Orison of the Hoof - increases Stagger dealt by Kicks whilst active. The specific bonus amount is not yet known.

Orison of the Paragon - provides a +3 Bonus to all three Virtues whilst active.
Lore
"A greeting spoken gently… An eye that glares intently…" - Unknown
It may be possible to piece Zenith's Voicelines together into a single monologue, as indicated by their unique formatting with a hyphen on either side. Filler words must be inserted to create coherent text, but these can be maintained at a minimum to obtain a text as follows (with additions in bold). Note that this is only one potential interpretation, and whilst it includes all voicelines, it may not be correctly ordered:
[-know you are a dream a-]
[-living soul upon the silvern are you dreaming or merely being dreamt by-]
[-and far far past the shifty sands he dreams us here the child nadir is-]
[-and meeting here in silent dream-]
[-one eye sleeps two eyes blink but three do see the-]
"Know you are a dream, a living soul upon the Silvern. Are you dreaming, or merely being dreamt by? And far, far past the shifty sands, he dreams us here — the child nadir is [sleeping] and meeting here in silent dream. One eye sleeps, two eyes blink, but three do see the [truth]."
[-drink not silvern for thirst but for kin of Ode'n curse who-]
[-serve may his memories return so he-]
[-can hear can understand can-]
[-it is important you must remember you-]
[-have not need for dracs in dreams of-]
[-so I slip the coin into the child's sleeping hand for-]
[-so lightens load of Ode'n spoils yet heavies the purse of child who toils-]
"Drink not Silvern for thirst, but for kin of Ode'n curse who serve. May his memories return so he can hear, can understand, can [remember]. It is important you must remember: you have not need for dracs in dreams of [Silvern]. So I slip the coin into the child's sleeping hand; for so lightens load of Ode'n spoils, yet heavies the purse of child who toils."
[-hear me though I do not speak see me here for there he sleeps the-]
[-Nadir would not thank you pray one day-]
[-will be punished for this pray that it wakes-]
[-be you rested for when you wake you-]
[-your memories to good use while you-]
[-we meet again two souls upon the silvern may-]
"Hear me, though I do not speak. See me here, for there he sleeps. The Nadir would not thank you; pray one day [he] will be punished for this. Pray that it wakes [him]. Be you rested, for when you wake, you [must put] your memories to good use while you [can]. [Until] we meet again, two souls upon the Silvern, may [you fare well]."
Trivia
- Zenith was first announced during Devstream 6, under the name 'Khaban'. However, in Devstream 11, his new name was revealed.
- As Zenith was stated in the above Devstream to be an Ancestor, the meaning of the term 'Ancestor' is currently understood as 'prominent individuals who hold ties to the land and its history'; rather than direct blood relatives of the Envoy. However, the possibility that the Envoy is descended from a camel cannot technically be ruled out at this time.
- Zenith has been given the nickname of 'Capitalism Camel' by the Soulframe community; a name of which Digital Extremes have expressed joking approval during Devstreams.[3]
