Sigil was much beloved by the Silent Rose, and would oft tell them stories.

in particular seems to miss her most of all; referring to her as 'Lady S', Bug will occasionally ask when Lady Sigil is returning home.

Throughout The Last Pensive, Runner of the Rose, and Brewer of Hues, the Envoy will come across numerous letters - often adorned with Silent Rose markings - addressed from Sigil to someone named 'Singer'. Notably, no response is ever sent from Singer to Sigil, nor is Singer ever mentioned by another character.

As all three letters directly pertain to the Envoy's objective, it is highly likely that Singer is Sigil's nickname for the

, and that she - as a Seer - left these letters behind for the Envoy to find. It is unknown whether this means Sigil yet lives, or whether she foresaw the Envoy's future and penned the letters (and recovered the

Pensive's Quill

) prior to her death.

Since two of the three letters mention the Ode and Sinecure, and as Sigil herself helped to recover the Quill, it is heavily implied that Sigil yet lives - and is actively helping in the fight against the Ode'n occupation.
