Runner of the Rose

Through Ode'n song enforced, forlorn, are we made to begive. Yet still us wayward spirits free, we dream of turning tides. If in your heart beats still unrest, a job do we enjoin. In camp of Ode'n make do we stake target to purloin. Synsylk and Graphite shall you take, in Alca's name renewed. And bring them to Dendrit abode by Silent Rose tattooed.

Overview
Runner Of The Rose is a Mini-Quest discovered by reading a note found by a skeleton to the east of the College of Pensives.
Completing the Mini-Quest will teach the Envoy how Crafting materials may be looted from Foes, and will teach them a little more about the operatives of an Enclave known as the Silent Rose.
Quest Start
- Location: East of College of Pensives
- Trigger: Interact with the skeleton found sitting amidst the rocky crags east of the College orchards.
Walkthrough
1. Locating the First Runner
Head east of the College of Pensives, past its orchards, and search between two large rocky crags to find a skeleton. Interact with the note lying beside it.
Thought myself steady enough to take a camp of the louts. I suppose it true what Ma said, not all men are built for such work. If any follow in my steps and succeed, take the supplies to the Dendrit homes marked on my map.
2. Clear the Ode'n Camp
The Envoy is directed towards a small Sinecure camp southwest of the College of Pensives, just east of the Auld Priori. Eliminate all Sinecure.
3. Gather Ode Graphite and Ode'n Synsylk
Collect 30
and
. Any existing materials collected before the Mini-Quest will count towards this objective, so it may be completed instantly.
4. Deliver Ode Graphite and Ode'n Synsylk
Deliver the Materials to two sacks near a hut in the village next to the College to complete the Mini-Quest.
Rewards
Completing Runner of the Rose will award the following:
- One Fragment of the
Tempest Leathers
- 2x
Moranite
- 250
Dracs
Neither this Mini-Quest, nor the Note gathered, will be recorded in the Journal; the note may be re-read from its original location, but will despawn after relogging. The Mini-Quest is not currently replayable.
Bugs
- Interacting with the sacks in the final stage of the Mini-Quest will provide no visual interaction nor feedback, but the objective will complete.
- The in-game Journal objective currently misspells Dendrit as 'Dendric'.
- Whilst the Runner's skeleton and their note will despawn after completing the Mini-Quest, the artificial light source used to draw the player's attention will remain by the rocks.
Trivia
- Despite the "Dendrit abode by Silent Rose tattooed" mentioned in the quest description, none of the houses in the village bear any form of Silent Rose markings.
- The Mini-Quest's Journal description comes in the form of a letter written by Sigil to someone named 'Singer', implied to potentially be the Player Envoy.
- Prior to Preludes 14 Hotfix 6, this Mini-Quest could be initiated via a Votive on the World Tree near Creedance High, far to the northwest of the College, alongside Laid to Rest. This was confirmed by Digital Extremes to be unintended.
