Undercover Gruulseeker

The Undercover Gruulseekers are elite Sinecure marksmen ordered by

himself to stifle the Dendrit Thawtide tradition. They will only appear during the Thawtide seasonal Event.

They can be found guarding Ode'n

placed around Midrath during the festival; disguised in Dendrit garb, they are set upon capturing the Thawtide Cardinals.

Undercover Gruulseekers wield a

Maestro

or

Rostrum

, and wear a slightly altered version of the Thawtide Set. Their equipment can be obtained by the player.

• Whilst Undercover Gruulseekers and Gruulseeker Selvins both use 'Gruulseeker' as a compound word, Gruul Seeker Ruthos and Gruul Seeker Sontaro use the two-word title 'Gruul Seeker'. It is not yet confirmed whether there is a correct convention for this title.

• The Undercover Gruulseeker is one of only five enemies in the game whose outfit can be obtained by the Envoy (albeit in this case with slightly altered Cuirass and Leggings designs), alongside:
  • Armoured Mockery
  • The Circade
  • The Mendicant King
  • Wazzard of Wastes

• Undercover Gruulseekers were officially named Thawtide Hunters with their original release in Preludes 12: Thawtide, until they were renamed in Preludes 14.
