Densely spun Dendrit weave to fend off the Thawtide chills. 'Twas once tradition to feed the Cardinals on each of the seven days leading to Thawtide. With leather gloves cupped 'round last autumn's seeds, families left their hearths and marched into the freeze. Upon gloved palms, landed tiny talons, feasting 'fore their hungry work at Thawtide's dawn. This year, hungrier than ever before.
