Baliq
One of the many bastardizations caused by ode corruption, should a Lanternbug nest within corruption, they'll grow into a feral warden, the pulse of its light meant to attract any unfortunate soul into demise.
Overview
The Baliq is a floating, shrimp-like creature found in corrupted areas across Midrath, and also within the Glades of Andurin.
In life, it carries a lantern capable of firing explosive projectiles. After death, this lantern detonates - but not before a swift Envoy may attempt to loot it.
The lantern can be looted for
Ichor and other resources in the brief interval between when it drops and explodes. Looting it will not prevent the explosion.
Baliq are valid targets for Slay The Corrupted Creatures Sparrow's Tale tasks.
