Laid To Rest

Laid to Rest is a Mini-Quest located in northern Midrath that can be started from the Votive Shrine at the northernmost World Tree.

• Location: North of Creedance High
• Trigger: Interact with Votive Shrine at the northernmost World Tree

Travel to the World Tree just north of Creedance High in northern Midrath. Interact with the Votive Shrine to bring up a note.

My manor—the locus of my dignity—has been reduced to naught but ash... Lay the spirits responsible to rest, for my lad's sake.

A note can be found upon a table inside the lodge.

Even in Pa's passing, the spirit's rage endures. Pa cared not for funeral rites but I've buried him just the same... I fear it was he who drew our ancestor's ire. I am sure but a single Hymn Rose upon Gramp's grave would set both spirits to a peaceful rest. I shall travel to the twilight woods and make right these transgressions.

Now head to the Crypt of The Circade entrance south of Mirifuir.

At the Crypt, another note can be found by interacting with the knight statue beside the sarcophagus.

Such a simple rite this was to be, I had been told! Yet as I place the hymn rose near Gramps', the spirits appeared from the earth to assail me once more. Had I the wrong grave? Why must they all look so similar? Before his passing, Pa told me Gramps lay by "twin coiled trees marked blue." Yet such a tree I saw not.

Using Spectral Sight, one can see three graves glowing red, green, and blue. Interacting with the blue grave will place the Hymn Rose, laying the spirit to rest and completing the Votive. Interacting with either of the other two graves will cause more Ghost Knights to appear and attack the Envoy, but will not fail the quest.

Completing Laid to Rest will award the following:

• One Fragment of Bog & Myrtle

• 2x Sappheline

• 250 Dracs
