A Hidden Harvest

A Hidden Harvest is a Dungeon Deed acquired by speaking with

in the entrance tile of the Hilly-Den Undercity, and offering to help him rescue some hidden Sproutfolk.

Completing the Deed will reward the Envoy with items from the Avakot Deeds drop table.

• Location: Undercity of Dermak, via the Hilly-Den entrance
• Trigger: Speak to Avakot and accept his task.

Upon speaking to Avakot, he will say, "Hate to be a bother biglegs, but we've lost a few from the patch. Dug 'emselves low under, waiting for the cans to leave... but I got a feelin' they never will. Can you dig 'em up?"

• 
  Avakot's dialogue offers multiple options when discussing the job opportunity.
• 
  The Envoy is given a Banglenut, which will begin to flash and click upon approaching a potential hiding spot.

The Envoy is presented with three dialogue options:

• "I'll find your friends." - Continues the conversation.
• "What are you selling?" - Opens the Avakot's Gots merchant interface.
• "Not right now." - Cancels dialogue, but can be revisited at any time.

Note: Nearby Sinecure may approach the Envoy whilst in dialogue with Avakot, but they will not attack until dialogue has ended.

Should the Envoy accept the quest, Avakot says, "Ya won't be findin 'em without this! We call 'em banglenuts. Get close. It'll start clickin' all mad. That's your cue to dig! Works every time, that's an Avakot guarantee. Good luck!"

The Dungeon Deed will not appear in the Journal, but the objective will appear upon summoning the Spirit Guide, which will guide the Envoy towards it.

• The Spirit Guide leads the Envoy to the general location of three missing Sproutfolk: Ginsy, Artacho and Rootabag.
  • Note that if the Envoy is close to the ghost of Fenn Jotar, then the Spirit Guide will lead to him instead of to the objective, until his soul has been absorbed with a Pull Smite.
  • Sometimes the Spirit Guide will become bugged and instead lead to the dungeon exit. In this case, the Envoy will have to manually explore and rely on the response of the Banglenut to know they are close.

• Upon approaching a potential hiding spot, marked by a patch of disturbed soil, the Banglenut attached to the Envoy's right hip will begin to flash and click.
  • The Banglenut will react more vigorously as the Envoy grows closer, allowing the player to use it as a 'Hot and Cold' mechanic to locate the patch.

• Pressing the Interact button (default E) will whistle to signal that the coast is clear, and a buried creature will emerge.
  • Note that sometimes this will be a Rabbit, and the Envoy will have to search the nearby area for another hiding spot to find the Sproutfolk.

• Free each of the three Sproutfolk by locating their patches and whistling to them.
  • The Sproutfolk may be freed in any order.
  • Note that the Sproutfolk will not acknowledge the Envoy once they are freed, and will simply stand in place.

Upon freeing the final Sproutfolk, the Dungeon Deed will complete, and Avakot will speak over the Ode'n Communication Device: "Thank-- Damn. I thought that was gonna be a good 'un that was."

Once all Sproutfolk have been freed, the Dungeon Deed has been completed.

Completing A Hidden Harvest will award items from the Avakot Deeds drop table:

This Dungeon Deed will not be recorded in the Journal, though it and Avakot's Stocks may be replayed by entering the Undercity beneath Hilly-Den and speaking to Avakot.

• The Banglenut shares the same appearance as the 'Organic' class of Crafting Materials, such as Whisprig.
