Sinecure Elite Soldier

Sinecure Elite Soldiers are the more heavily-armoured brethren of the regular

. As with regular Soldiers, there are numerous variants, each with their own distinct combat style.

Sinecure Elite Soldiers share many abilities with their common counterparts, but have a few of their own.

• Voltaic Blade: The Sinecure Elite Soldier raises their blade to the sky, calling down a lightning strike to create a small shockwave and fortifying their blade with additional Voltaic damage for a short duration. Only Sword, Shield, Vasp-IV, Mace, and Torch-bearer Sinecure Elite Soldiers can perform this attack.
• Synod's Pride: Upon taking fatal damage, the Sinecure Elite Soldier throws down their weapon and falls to their knees, calling forth a powerful Voltaic strike on their position, killing them and dealing high damage to any opponents nearby. The Soldier can be killed before the strike is complete, but this will not cancel it. Only Sword, Shield, Vasp-IV, and Torch-bearer Sinecure Elite Soldiers can perform this attack.
• Thunderstone Grenade: The Sinecure Elite Soldier throws a small Thunderstone that will explode after a short delay, dealing high damage to any opponent caught in its blast. Only Sword Sinecure Elite Soldiers can perform this attack.
• Voltaic Shields: The Sinecure Elite Soldier casts a Voltaic shield upon themselves, taking reduced damage for a short duration. Any melee attack they receive whilst this shield is active will knock down and damage the assailant. Only Dual Axe Sinecure Elite Soldiers can use this ability.
  • Magick attacks will also damage the attacker, but not knock them down.
• Tempest Shroud: The Sinecure Elite Soldier cloaks themselves in a storm for a short duration, dealing damage to any nearby opponents. Only Axe Sinecure Elite Soldiers can use this ability.
