Howl

Howl is an Arcanic Ability for the

Orengall

pact in Soulframe.

Buffs Grace and Smite Chance for the Envoy and nearby allies. Nearby enemy dogs are temporarily befriended.

Effects

• Adds [6.3 + Grace / 9] to the Grace of the caster and allies within range.
  • This contradicts the in-game description, which references Courage currently.
• Multiplies all weapon's smite chance (without totems) by [1.5 + 0.55% x Grace] for the buff's duration.
• Howl will heal the wolves summoned with Packhunter, though the amount/proportion, or any potential scaling, is not yet known.
• The dog-charming effect applies not only to Ode'n Wardogs, but also to Ichorous Wardogs.

Range & Duration

• Howl's range (the range allies must be in to receive the buff) scales significantly with Grace.
• Buff duration is 30 seconds and does not scale with any virtue.
• Dog-charming duration is 10 seconds and does not scale with any virtue.

Misc.

• Correctly benefits Grace-attuned weapons, but not above their Attune Cap.
• Multiple Howl buffs do not stack with each other.
