Joineries are an item used to Reforge a Weapon; permanently strengthening its Virtue Attunement.

Overview

Joineries immagine illustrativa di Soulframe

Joineries are used in the process of Reforging to add 1-3 Attunement Pips in either Joineries immagine illustrativa di Soulframe Courage, Joineries immagine illustrativa di Soulframe Spirit, or Joineries immagine illustrativa di Soulframe Grace. The type and strength of Attunement depend on its Deity and level of blessing - a Thrice Blessed Joinery (i.e. highest rarity) is required to apply 3 Virtue Pips.

Reforging will immediately apply the selected Attunement increase to the targeted item, and requires no crafting time - but it will cost a similar amount of Materials and

DracsDracs

to those used in the initial crafting of the item, with the addition of the chosen Joinery. Only one Joinery may be installed at any time, but may be replaced with another Joinery as many times as one likes (the previous one is destroyed).

Most Joineries are specific to weapon types;

VeriteVerite

,

QuicksilverQuicksilver

and

FeybaltFeybalt

apply to Melee, Ranged and Magick weapons respectively, whilst

GildaurGildaur

may be used on any weapon.

Attunement Cap

Note that Attunement is capped at 5 Pips for each individual Virtue, represented by a Joineries immagine illustrativa di SoulframeJoineries immagine illustrativa di SoulframeJoineries immagine illustrativa di Soulframe golden border around the pip. However, Joineries also provide the option of adding different Virtue pips compared to a weapon's original Attunement: for example, the player may add Spirit scaling to a Grace- and Courage-attuned weapon like

Bond Requirement

Joineries are installed via the Reforge tab of the Crafting menu. This tab will not be visible until the Envoy has achieved Bond Rank 2 with

Old Joinery Effects

Prior to Preludes 14, Joineries would improve a weapon's base stats, such as providing +25 Damage. Depending on the specific Joinery used, a variety of effects could be applied to the Envoy's Weapon:

  • -x% Parry Stability Cost
    • This reduces the Stability damage you take when Parrying
  • +x Consecutive Damage
    • Stacks x damage for each attack without interruption up to a cap of 3. Applies outside of Attunement scaling.
  • +x Throw Distance
    • Increases lock-on range and projectile lifespan of Magick weapons
  • +x Damage
    • Adds a flat damage bonus outside of the Attunement Scaling.
  • +x% Lifesteal
    • Gives x% of your damage inflicted back as health
  • +x% Weapon Charge Rate
    • Increases the speed in which you can use bow charged shots by x%
  • +x% Headshot multiplier
    • Adds a multiplier of 1.x to the 1.5x base headshot multiplier of your weapon, making it more potent than a simple addition to the multiplier.
  • +x Perfect Throw Damage
    • Adds x to the Perfect Throw damage. Applies outside of Attunement scaling.

Trivia

  • Until Preludes 14 Hotfix 5, use of a Twice or Thrice Blessed Joinery used to reset a weapon to Rank 0; it needed to be re-leveled to reach its maximum potential. Reforging and re-leveling an item would not award any further Mastery; the Envoy may only acquire mastery for a weapon from Rank 0 to 30 once.
  • Prior to Preludes 14, Joineries would improve a weapon's base stats, such as providing +25 Damage. Depending on the specific Joinery used, a variety of effects could be applied to the weapon. This system was simplfied to be purely Attunement-focused with Preludes 14, and the additional damage once obtained via Joineries was instead merged with the Leveling process.
  • Prior to Preludes 10, Joineries were required in the initial crafting of a weapon.
