Corrupted
Overview
The Corrupted are an Enemy affiliation in Soulframe. Through exposure to the Ode'n
Ichor, a once proud and graceful being may become a twisted husk of what it once was.
Many creatures, though visibly Ichor-Corrupted, do not belong to the actual Corrupted faction. Examples include the
Baliq, which fights for the Ode faction; and the
Ichorous Wardog, which fights alongside the Mendicant.
Vadagar
The Vadagar, such as the
Vadagar Stagor
Vadagar Bear, are specific Corrupted world bosses encountered throughout Midrath. They are described as spirits of Ichor, attempting to mimic the form of the Omen Beasts.
The Vadagar Beasts may be found in pools of corruption across Midrath at night time, as well as being potential bosses of Rank 2 and 3 Sparrow's Tales.
Environment
Environmental Corruption occurs whenever the nature of Alca comes into contact with Ode'n
Ichor, either in its liquid or
Petrified form.
It is thought that the Corruption is an act of intentional Terraforming by the Ode, rendering the planet's surface fit for their alien biology.[1]
