A land on the world of Alca, whose Queen once gifted the isle of Midrath with the Grimpante Tree.

Aurel

Location	Alca

Overview

Aurel is a Kingdom in the world of Alca, outside of Midrath.

It’s said that the Grimpante Trees of , a swamp on the east of Midrath, are not native to the Isle, but a gift from the Aureli Queen

Bernadette

. Legend has it, she dropped a single seed in a bottle and cast it afloat upon the ocean Salz. By

Iridis'

guidance, it beached on Midrath the next morning, becoming an abundant pocket of Aurel within Birdie's Bog.

Additionally, Aureli jardiniers would often create witching-staves made of alder wood. Although their curling boughs look natural, the staves are hand-shaped and grown into delicate curves - finely tuned to facilitate the flow of magic. A single wand takes years to grow, while a staff such as

Gwylen

, takes a lifetime.

Trivia
