Ability Information

Effect

Draw a flintlock pistol and take aim. Upon release, fires a powerful single projectile which will pierce through multiple enemies.

Assigned Virtue

Courage

Cooldown

20

Type

AoE Projectile

Ability Details

"Break the rules of old. Fire a single shot from your flintlock pistol that pierces enemies and explodes on impact."

Projectile deals [310 + 5.85 x Courage] Damage on direct hit.
- Capable of both Headshots and Stealth Hits.
- The shot ignores 50% of Enemy Armour, and also pierces through Foes.

Shots explode upon hitting a surface, creating an Area of Effect hit dealing 1/3 primary hit damage.
- AoE damage is fully affected by Enemy Armour, unlike the primary hit.

Flintlock's projectile has travel time with moderate arcing.

Ability Information

Effect

Boosts the highest Virtue stat of each Party member within range, and inflicts a slow effect on nearby enemies.

Assigned Virtue

Spirit

Cooldown

58

Type

AoE Buff, AoE Debuff

Ability Details

"Invoke The Duelo. Boost allies' highest virtues while slowing enemies in range."

Buff is approximately a [ Highest Virtue x [0.213 + 0.00367 x Spirit] ] Bonus to the Envoy's highest Virtue.
- If the highest virtue is tied between two or all three virtues, the buff will be split evenly between the tied virtues.
- Duration is [25 + Spirit / 4] Seconds.
- Allies receive the buff as well when touched by the radial effect (need confirmation).

Slows Foes in an increasing radius, applying a flat 0.5x Slow for all of their actions.
- Slow amount is reduced against Bosses - the exact amount is TBD.
- Duration is [20 + Spirit / 4] Seconds.
- Range is TBD.

Ability Information

Effect

All attacks made for the duration of Duo Duelo will strike twice, though at a slightly lower damage than the original attack.

Assigned Virtue

Grace

Cooldown

39

Type

Self Buff

Ability Details

"Her past, His future, as one. Spawn a ghostly clone that matches every attack you make."

All Strikes are repeated during the Arcanic's duration, dealing [42.1 + 0.76 x Grace]% Damage.
- Strikes are affected by Enemy Armour.
- Duration is [17 + Grace / 3] Seconds.

Clone strikes do not seem to proc Smite - This is currently being actively tested - this message will be removed when the interaction is fully confirmed.

Ability Information

Effect

Dodges following a Perfect Dodge will leave behind clones of the Envoy, attracting enemy aggro for a number of seconds.

Type

Passive

Ability Details

"A free spirit's allure. A perfect dodge spawns a decoy that will keep enemy attention for a short time."

After a Perfect Dodge, the next [1 / 2 / 3 / 4] dodges will spawn a decoy that draws attention.
- Decoys last ~1 second.
- While Foes are targeting the decoy, they are briefly vulnerable to Backstabs.
- Enemies that target the decoy are vulnerable to Lethality Multiplier, even after the decoy is gone.
  - Some enemies, like Sinecure Officers and Weaver Agari, do not target the decoy, and are not vulnerable to the Lethality Multiplier.

Ability Information

Effect

The next three hits after a dodge have a chance to inflict a Bleed proc upon damaged Foes.

Type

Passive

Ability Details

"An eye for an eye. Dodging gives attacks the chance to cause bleed."

Chance to apply a Bleed proc when attacking for the next successful melee hit/three successful ranged hits after Dodging.
- Chance scales with rank in the Duelo Pact Art - The first hit has a 6% / 12% / 18% / 24% chance to inflict Bleed, and subsequent hits if applicable have a significantly lower chance. Rank potentially scales with Virtues.
- Hits must be performed shortly after the dodge to trigger the bleed.
- Perfect Dodges are not a requirement to trigger Duelo.

Deals 35% of Unmitigated Hit Damage - i.e. the damage before any armour/blocked hit calculations apply.
- Bleed DoT ticks bypass Enemy Armour.
  - As a consequence, it bypasses Blocking as well.
- Damage is dealt once per second, for 7 seconds, for a total of 245% damage.
  - Bosses appear to only take 6 ticks, resulting in 210% damage.

Trivia

Duelo was originally referred to in its concept art as the 'Seed Arm'.

In the original Mestra Carmo Concept Art Reveal, the Duelo arm seemed to be a prosthetic fitted onto Envoys by the Ode. This concept may have since been discarded:

Bayor seeks Blues for Ode’n toil.
To fit their arms with fencer’s foil.
Though you, Envoy, may wield it loyal. - Duelo & Mestra Concept Art Reveal
